No pets allowed. Absolutely no smoking in the house or on the screened porch. If you smoke, do not throw your butts in the yard, patio, or driveway. Bring an ashtray for them.

You will need to furnish your own linens, towels (both bath and beach), and paper products, etc. There is one Queen and two double beds. There are comforters on the beds, please do not remove them from the bedrooms. If you do not need the comforters, please fold and store them in the closet while you are there, but put them back on the beds before you leave. There are two queen pull-out sofas and one twin. We do not furnish blankets. If you remove the sofa throws to open up the beds, put them back to help protect the sofas.

There is an outside shower on the driveway side of the house for washing off feet and legs when returning from the beach before you enter the house. Please make sure that it is turned off before leaving. Do not let small children play with the shower. Water is not provided by the campground and we must pay for water usage.

To receive channels above 13 on the TV in the den, you must watch thru the VCR. Make sure the TV is on channel 3 and the VCR is on.

Do's and Don'ts:

Do not remove glasses, dishes, furniture, or comforters from the house. (You may want to take paper or plastic cups for use outside or at the beach).

Do not remove chairs, cushions, or umbrellas from the screened porch or deck. Make sure the table umbrella is down during thunder storms or high wind. Please leave the umbrella on the screened porch when you leave. Table umbrellas are not designed for beach winds and are not to be taken to the beach.

Do not put sandy towels, swimsuits, clothes, etc., in the washing machine. Please make sure all sand is rinsed out of these items before washing. Please empty the filter in the dryer before drying each load of laundry.

Do not use the dish washer unless you have a full load. The setting “Light Wash” on the dish washer will be sufficient to clean dishes for regular meals. Do not use heat dry. Wipe the outside and around the inside edges of the dishwasher several times during your stay to help prevent dirt and grime buildup.

Do not sit on furniture, beds, etc., when wearing wet swimsuits, sunscreen or oils.

Do not play your radio, etc., loudly. Please do not litter our lawn or the beach with cigarette butts, paper cups or plates or bottles. Please remember there is no smoking in the mobile home or on the screened porch.

Do not move furniture or other items from room to room in the house.

Do lock all the doors when you are away (even at the pool or beach) as we, nor Ocean Lakes are responsible for lost or stolen items.

Do bag all trash and place in the cans at the end of the driveway. Trash is picked up on Tuesday and Friday.

Do take all leftover food products back with you. Please do not leave food for the next guest to dispose of. Please wipe around the door handle of the refrigerator and any place inside where food may have leaked, especially meats.

Unplug the TV / VCR, microwave, etc. during thunderstorms. Also, unplug at the end of your stay.

Place the remote controls on their respective TV’s before check-out.

Do not use the pull chains to operate the ceiling fans or lights. Use the wall switches instead.

Do be responsible for small children and do not let them destroy things within their reach. Remember the house is not child proof.

Please place golf cars in the golf car building and lock the door when not in use. We had one stolen last year.

Before you leave.
Cleaning supplies are provided and you will find them in the laundry room over the washer and dryer. We appreciate you cleaning before you leave. Please let us know if the house is not clean when you arrive.

Make sure the mattress covers and comforters are clean. If comforters need washing, the large machines in the campground laundromat must be used. They are too big to get adequately clean in our machine.

Please vacuum the carpets. Mop or spot clean the kitchen and dining room floors.

Wipe down the furniture, dining room table, and kitchen countertops, etc.

Clean the bathrooms, shake out the bathroom rugs, etc, The bath tub and shower mats can be washed in the machine and are bleach safe. Do not dry in dryer. Please lift these up and make sure the tub / shower floor is clean.

Check drawers, closets, and under the beds before you leave. We are not responsible for items left behind.

Please remember to place the umbrellas in the screened porch and lock the porch doors.
